Join us at HooDoo Ski Resort for ACCO’s Opening Autocross Weekend — May 29–31
Push your limits, learn fast, and have a blast—new drivers or seasoned veterans, join us at ACCO Autocross, HooDoo, May 29–31. Any car that passes tech and meets SCCA rules is welcome. Join the community, improve your skills, feel the rush.
It’s your car, a parking lot full of cones, and a timer — autocross is the easiest, most fun way to learn high‑performance driving. New drivers are welcome: no experience required, just bring a valid license, a SNELL 2010+ helmet (loaners available), and your car with loose items removed for tech inspection.
Friday is a relaxed Test‑n‑Tune (11:00–5:00) to get comfortable; we will have live timing but the results are not recorded and the victory is in your mind.
Saturday and Sunday are full competition days with driver’s meeting at 8:30 and runs starting at 9:00. We run two groups in the morning and repeat in the afternoon after lunch break. Typically that means you will get 5 runs in the morning and 5 in the afternoon for 10 timed competition runs. Virtual trophies in every class so it’s not about the car but all about bragging rights (no money here).
Saturday’s event will be followed up with a camping food themed potluck dinner (estimated to start around 5 PM or whenever we get hungry). Spend some time rethinking your approach to going fast and relive your mistakes with an eye towards nailing it tomorrow!
Day‑of registration is available but prepaying on MotorsportReg is preferred. Limited dry RV camping is available; please respect the venue rules and noise limits. Entry fees: $40 per event (members), $15 per event (student members); high‑school drivers must be 16+ with a full license and a parent to sign the waiver. Check in at the registration table when you arrive to get your pit wristband and course map.
